Security and Hold Up
DescriptionThe Minicom Superphone is a state of the art, self contained, Emergency and Security system, housed in a modern ergonomically designed package.
The Superphone provides rapid reporting to monitoring personnel, via the telephone line, whenever assistance is required. The user simply activates the red Emergency button on their portable radio transmitter, or alternatively, the button on the Superphone,
to initiate the Emergency call

The monitoring personnel are then able to converse with the user via the built in hands free speaker phone. This is especially important if the user has been incapacitated in some way.
Features
The Superphone is designed to perform a number of unique
functions not found in the normal telephone.
As a telephone, the superphone allows Tone or Pulse Dialing,
Memory Dialing and Handsfree operation.
As an emergency call unit, the superphone will send an alarm
message to a monitoring station, pocket pager or alert a friend. The
Alarm message identifies the person to the monitoring station alerting
them to the emergency.
Power requirementsThe Superphone is powered from a 240 VAC 50Hz plug pack.
