PC Base Station

Description

The Minicom PC Base Station is a Personal Computer based system, with user friendly Windows™ color graphics software. This provides complete reconfiguration of the base station to meet specific combinations of alarm, locating duress, nurse call, security, industrial, wander resident, paging and emergency telephone applications.

Features

All alarms displayed in a text window, showing a fully customizable, plain English message detailing the alarm event, and optionally displaying the location on the site, on a graphical plan.
Location determination of the Alarm transmitters using vector locating receivers.
Integrated on-site and off-site paging facilities to pocket pagers and mobile phones, automatically on alarm or manually by the user.
Group paging, wide area paging and PABX interfaces available.

Power requirements

The PC Base station is powered from a 240V AC 50Hz mains supply.
An optional Un-interruptible power supply (UPS) is available, to provide up to 4 hours standby.
