Lone Worker Systems
DescriptionThe Minicom Lone Worker System provides protection of personnel when limited staff are present on a site.
The worker wears a small, battery powered, portable duress transmitter unit. The transmitter unit has a belt clip and chain, which is clipped to their clothing

The worker can active the alarm if in duress, sending an alarm signal to the base station.
When activated, the transmitting unit can be programmed to emit a very loud siren (120 dB), to aid in the locating of the person under duress, in noisy industrial environments.
The duress unit is also available in an intrinsically safe unit to AS 2380.1 and AS 2380.7
Alarms are sent, via receivers, to be alerted on any of the following Base Station systems :
The alarm messages can be received either directly into a the Minicom PC Base Station or Bodyguard III or via repeaters for extended coverage. The Door Monitor Terminal must be used in association with the Minicom UHF Diversity repeater
